Pizza Braid

Thank you Jen Kimball for showing me how to make this simple, but impressive recipe. I love it because it is so easy and so versatile.

1 frozen Rhodes bread loaf

Filling Options:
-Pepperoni, sausage, peppers, olives, and cheese dipped in marinara sauce
-Chicken, artichokes & cheese dipped in Alfredo sauce
-Slices of roast beef, peppers, and cheese dipped in Aus juice
-Ham, pineapple, and cheese dipped in marinara sauce
-Turkey lunch meat, veggies, and cheese dipped in a cheesy salad dressing
-Hamburger, kidney beans, and cheese dipped in fry sauce

Unthaw bread loaf according to package directions, about 4-5 hours. Then roll out into a triangle and place the filling of your choice down the center. Then with a knife, cut both edges into 1" strips. Starting at the top of your rectangle overlap the right side, then the left, then right, left... and continue until it looks like a braid.

1 egg
Dry Italian Seasoning

Whisk one egg and with a pastry brush, brush the top of the dough, then sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Let pizza braid rise about 30 minutes or 10 minutes in a warm oven, then bake for approximately 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
