Old Fashioned Chocolate Sour Cream Drop Cookies

Chocolate Sour Cream Drop Cookies

This is my Grandma Morris' recipe. Everything Grandma Morris makes is delicious! Even when I make her recipes it's never as good as when she makes it.

Cream:

1/2 C. butter

1 C. Brown Sugar

Add:

1 Egg

1 t. vanilla

2 (1 oz.) unsweetened chocolate, melted, cooled

Alternately add dry ingredients and sour cream:

2 C. flour

1/2 t. soda

1/4 t. salt

3/4 C. sour cream

Mix together and drop from teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Frost with chocolate or white frosting. For the holidays I added some crushed peppermints to the top.
