This was a yummy part of our Super Bowl food fanfare this year. My meatball recipe comes from my half Italian friend, Andrew, who I try to steal recipes from every chance I get. The meatballs can also be served with spaghetti. They're a recipe collection staple!
Meatballs:
1 1/2 lbs ground hamburger
1 egg
1/2 cup italian bread crumbs
1 tsp minced garlic
1/4 - 1/2 cup milk or just until it's meatloaf consitancy
Mix all ingredients - I do it by hand - then shape into meatballs and bake for about 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
Sauce:
1 jar cocktail sauce
1/2 cup grape jelly
Warm all together in a crock pot and serve on rolls with your choice of cheese.
